dc.description.abstract	El presente trabajo plantea el estudio de un problema de investigación correlacional, concerniente a la manera en que se relacionan las actividades de Responsabilidad Social Empresarial y la producción de carbón en la empresa Carbones del Cerrejón Ltd., en el periodo comprendido del año 2010 al 2015. En la metodología utilizada se ejecutaron actividades de recopilación de información desde fuentes independientes para que a partir de un estudio inicial, se pudiera generar un análisis cualitativo y cuantitativo de las variables con la ayuda de herramientas gráficas y de aplicación de coeficiente de correlación lineal. Los hallazgos de la investigación permiten concluir que la relación entre la Responsabilidad Social Empresarial y la Producción de la empresa Carbones del Cerrejón Ltd. entre los años 2010 a 2015 es directa. Lo invertido en RSE estaría dentro de lo que hacen las empresas que se acogieron al pacto global, pero es primordial seguir avanzando para minimizar el impacto que tiene en el entorno.	spa

dc.description.abstractenglish	This paper presents the study of a problem of correlational investigation, concerning to the manner in which the activities of Corporate Social Responsibility and the coal production in the company Carbones del Cerrejón Ltd. in the period from 2010 to 2015. In the methodology used, the activities of gathering information from independent sources were performed so that, from an initial study, a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the variables could be generated with the help of graphical tools and the application of a linear correlation coefficient. The findings of the investigation allow us to conclude that the relationship between Corporate Social Responsibility and Production of the company Carbones del Cerrejón Ltd. between the years 2010 to 2015 is direct. The investment in CSR is inside of the scope of companies that accepted the global pact, but it is essential to keep moving forward to minimize the impact it has on the environment.	eng
