El transporte, tanto a nivel global como a nivel local, es el sector con el mayor consumo de energía, siendo su principal fuente los combustibles fósiles que impactan negativamente al medio ambiente y a la salud de los ciudadanos. A razón de ello, surgió la necesidad de empezar a investigar nuevas alternativas energéticas que permitan mitigar los efectos negativos del sector, como el hidrógeno verde, un energético que ha presentado grandes avances y resultados como sustito de los combustibles fósiles, y puede llegar a convertirse en la solución para la operación de un transporte público más sostenible.
Transport, both globally and locally, is the sector with the highest energy consumption, its main source being fossil fuels that negatively impact the environment and the health of citizens. As a result, there was a need to start investigating new energy alternatives that mitigate the negative effects of the sector, such as green hydrogen, an energy that has presented great advances and results as a substitute for fossil fuels, and can become the solution for the operation of a more sustainable public transport.
