El presente artículo tiene como protagonista al departamento del Caquetá, regiónque junto con el Putumayo, además de registrar históricamente la mayor presencia de las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC), forma parte del grupo de principales víctimas de la guerra en Colombia. A través de este texto se pretende informar acerca de los posibles cambios que se generarán en la región caquetense en el ámbito económico una vez firmado el acuerdo de paz con las FARC. Al indagar sobre la economía de esta región el sector terciario es el principal y que el ramo de la construcción es el que tiene mayor participación en el PIB.

This article focuses on the department of Caquetá, a region that together with Putumayo, besides from historically registering the strongest presence of the FARC armed group, is part of the group of main victims of the war in Colombia. Through this text, it is intended to inform about the possible changes that will come to the region of Caquetá in the economic area once the peace agreement with the FARC is signed in its entirety. When inquiring about the economy of this region, it is found that it is the tertiary sector that stands out as the main one, and that the aspects that have to do with construction are those that have the greatest participation in the GDP.
