The objectives of this research were to identify the main associations between attitudes and entrepreneurial intention (EI) of research professors in Colombia and to unveil the main attitudes that determine their EI. Regarding the methodology used, this is a correlational study with a quantitative approach; the design is non-experimental cross-sectional; a sample of 412 university teachers registered as researchers in the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation was used; two methods were used to process the data, namely, multiple correspondence and logistic regression. As for the main results of the research, it was possible to visualize four types of researcher teachers according to the relationship between attitudes and EI, while out of the 16 attitudes studied, four were identified as influencing their EI. The most important conclusions point out that teachers who show a taste for creating a business are associated with negative attitudes towards this behavior, while those who already have some entrepreneurial experiences are related to positive attitudes; on the other hand, it is also concluded that attitudes about intrinsic aspects of teacher researchers have a greater influence on their EI than attitudes about extrinsic aspects.eng
