| dc.description.abstract | El capítulo presenta el diseño y desarrollo de una aplicación de facturación tipo POS enfocada en la usabilidad y la experiencia de usuario para comercios minoristas y negocios familiares en Colombia. El estudio surge ante las dificultades que presentan muchos sistemas POS existentes, cuyas interfaces complejas dificultan su uso por parte de personas sin formación técnica, generando errores operativos y frustración. El objetivo principal es crear una aplicación con una interfaz clara, accesible e intuitiva para optimizar la eficiencia operacional. Se utilizó una metodología mixta con encuestas y entrevistas, logrando una reducción estimada del 35% en el tiempo promedio de facturación y una alta satisfacción en pruebas de usabilidad. | spa |
| dc.description.abstract | This chapter presents the design and development of a POS-type billing application focused on usability and user experience for retail stores and family businesses in Colombia. The study arose from the difficulties encountered with many existing POS systems, whose complex interfaces hinder their use by people without technical training, leading to operational errors and frustration. The main objective is to create an application with a clear, accessible, and intuitive interface to optimize operational efficiency. A mixed methodology was used, incorporating surveys and interviews, resulting in an estimated 35% reduction in average billing time and high satisfaction in usability testing. | eng |
