Bilingüismo en Colombia: economía y sociedad

Abstract

Ploutos Este artículo analiza la situación actual del bilingüismo en Colombia, nuestra investigación se fundamenta en la metodología de análisis a partir de indicadores y resultados obtenidos por el ICFES y con respaldo del Banco de la Republica, las cuales son entidades certificadas. En el año 2004, el Ministerio de Educación diseñó el Programa Nacional de Bilingüismo (PNB) y estipuló los lineamientos y objetivos para su desarrollo en todo el país. En este estudio se exploró diferencialmente la literatura con aportes del grupo al análisis central de hipótesis relacionadas. Por lo tanto, a lo largo de este artículo se pretende demostrar que en su mayoría el déficit en el nivel de inglés de estudiantes de educación media y superior es producido por el insuficiente nivel de inglés de los docentes.

Rev. Ploutos This article analyzes the current situation of bilingualism in Colombia. Our research is based on the method of analysis from indicators and results obtained by the Colombian Institute for the Promotion of Higher Education (ICFES by its abbreviation in Spanish) with the support of the Banco de la República, both certified entities. In 2004, the Education Ministry designed the National Bilingual Program (NBP) and stipulated the guidelines and objectives for its development throughout the country. This study differentially explored the literature with inputs from the group to the central analysis of related hypotheses. Therefore, throughout this article we aim to demonstrate that most of the deficit in the English level of students in secondary and higher education is produced by the insufficient level of English teachers.
