Barreras idiomáticas que presentan los estudiantes del Centro de Idiomas Asiáticos que quieren conocer abiertamente la cultura japonesa

Abstract

El presente artículo demuestra los resultados obtenidos en el proyecto de investigación que fue enfocado en identificar los principales choques culturales que ocurren dentro del lenguaje verbal y no verbal (kinésica) que enfrentan los estudiantes colombianos del Centro de Idiomas Asiáticos al momento de tener una conversación intercultural con los hablantes japoneses, de igual manera se analiza y se describe durante el trabajo las diferencias que surgieron entre la forma del lenguaje colombiano y el uso del lenguaje honorífico (keigo) en el japonés. Además, se demuestran los aspectos que consideran importantes que tienen en cuenta al momento de acercarse para interactuar con un japonés como por ejemplo mantener la distancia o respetar el silencio que se genera cuando un japonés está analizando su respuesta. Para hallar el anterior análisis, se realizaron diversas búsquedas de artículos que fueron de guía para complementar más la temática tratada el problema de investigación la cual se desarrolló de manera descriptiva. También permitió relacionar los conocimientos de la sociolingüística, el aprendizaje intercultural y la interpretación de la semiología de ambas culturas. Para seguir complementando se hizo una encuesta el día 19 de abril hasta el 10 de mayo del año 2021, la cual fue dirigida a los estudiantes del Centro de Idiomas Asiáticos en la ciudad de Bogotá quienes quieren conocer abiertamente esta cultura y su respectiva interacción; se realizó bajo la metodología bibliográfica con preguntas abiertas y cerradas, de las cuales se obtuvieron datos importantes tanto cuantitativos como cualitativos que como resultado logró demostrar que la mayoría de los estudiantes tienen un interés por conocer más acerca de la cultura japonesa y su idioma a través de varios aspectos de búsqueda como la historia del país, su gastronomía, entretenimiento y escritura.

The present article demonstrate the results obtained in the investigation project that was focused on identify the main cultural impacts that currently happen among the verbal and non- verbal language (kinesics), experienced by the Colombian students at the Asian Language Center in Bogota city, when they have an intercultural conversation with Japanese speakers, also it is analyzed and described in this work the differences that appeared between the way that Colombians talk, and the use of honorific language called (Keigo) in the Japanese. In addition to is demonstrate the important aspects that the students consider in the moment of have a conversation with a Japanese person, like keep the distance or respect the silence which is established while the person is analyzing the answer. In search of the previous analysis, it was developed variously investigative articles which were used as guide to complement the information of the principal research problem in a descriptive investigation. On the other hand, it allowed to relate the knowledge of social linguistics, intercultural learning and interpretation of semiology given in both cultures. With the objective of keep complementing a survey was created and developed since April 19th until May 10th. It was sent at all the students of the Asian language center in Bogota who want to get know this culture and the interaction with the country; it was made using the bibliographic methodology with open and close questions, that obtained important quantitative and qualitative data, as results demonstrate that a major part of students have an interest in learning more about Japanese culture and language by searching aspects like the Japanese history, gastronomy, entertainment, and writing.
