REVISTA DE INVESTIGACIÓN DE LA FACULTAD DE INGENIERÍA This article aims at developing a prototype of low- cost- intelligent house as an experience in the demotic area which could be controlled by mobile devices. Its main objective is to report the process and methodology to be used byother groups having the same project with the same characteristics. This report describes key success and failures which were revealed through the processes of planning, design and execution of the prototype
