dc.description.abstractRev.esc.adm.neg Los programas de desarrollo de proveedores (SDP) se componen de proyectos para incrementar el rendimiento de los mismos y aunque son un problema clave en la literatura de la cadena de suministro, no son frecuentes los estudios de caso que documenten lecciones aprendidas al respecto. Se busca entonces socializar brevemente los pasos de la metodología DMAIC en el caso real de un proyecto de desarrollo de proveedores (PDP) en una empresa de manufactura. Para ello se abordó la metodología Six Sigma / DMAIC desde a) el acta de constitución del proyecto, b) Los resultados obtenidos en cada fase DMAIC tras la aplicación de las técnicas afines, c) Las mejoras implementadas y d) La métrica de control del proceso. Por último, se concluye que el proyecto aplicado en Schneider Electric de Colombia S.A. (SEC) se puede catalogar como un proyecto de desarrollo de proveedores y se sugiere que la no inclusión de algunas actividades en su planificación pudo incidir en el no cumplimiento del objetivo definido por la gerencia.spa
dc.description.abstractRev.esc.adm.neg The development program of suppliers (SDP) involves projects to strengthen their performance; although they represent a key problem in supply chain literature review, they are not frequently found in documented studies. For this reason, socializing the steps of DMAIC methodology by showing a real case study about providers´ development projects (PDP) in a manufacturing company. Consequently, a Six Sigma/ DMAIC methodology was evidenced through the analysis of a) project deed of constitution of foundation; b) outcomes resulting from each DMAIC stage after applying related techniques; c) implemented improvements; and d) control process metric. Finally, it is assumed that the realized project in Schneider Electric Colombia S.A. (SEC) could be considered as a development project of providers which suggests no inclusion of some planning activities which may not cause the fulfillment of the stated goal by its Chief Executive Officer.eng
