Este artículo tiene como objetivo analizar el desarrollo y la forma en que el turismo oscuro y de memoria se puede potencializar en el Bronx, en la ciudad de Bogotá. El enfoque de esta investigación es mixto, y el tipo de investigación descriptivo, a través de entrevistas y encuestas. Los resultados describen una opción para ofrecer un servicio turístico enriquecedor, orientado a la memoria, la reflexión y la educación, donde se busca dejar una enseñanza a futuras generaciones a partir de la problemática social que enfrentó Bogotá. En conclusión, el Bronx fue el hogar de muchas personas que enfrentaron diversas dificultades y circunstancias que las llevaron a residir en esa área. La evolución hacia un turismo de memoria podría transformar la percepción del lugar, resaltando no solo sus aspectos negativos del pasado, sino también las historias de resiliencia y superación de quienes vivieron allí.

This article aims to analyze the development and potential of dark and memory tourism in the Bronx, Bogotá. This research approach is mixed, and the type of research is descriptive, utilizing interviews and surveys. The results describe an option for offering an enriching tourism service, oriented toward memory, reflection, and education, seeking to teach future generations about the social problems faced by Bogotá. In conclusion, the Bronx was home to many people who faced various difficulties and circumstances that led them to reside in that area. The evolution toward memory tourism could transform the perception of the place, highlighting not only its negative aspects of the past, but also the stories of resilience and overcoming of those who lived there.
