| dc.description.abstract | Los emprendimientos universitarios de alto impacto requieren estimular el aprendizaje experiencial y fortalecer lo curricular referente al emprender. Se debe pasar de la teoría a la creación de empresas. El problema son las brechas para que esto se dé, lo cual es evidente al comparar programas institucionales de emprendimiento de universidades públicas de países en vía de desarrollo con universidades de países desarrollados. Por tanto, el propósito es identificar brechas entre programas universitarios de formación emprendedora experiencial de países desarrollados frente a la realidad de un país en vía de desarrollo. Para eso se construyó una rúbrica de evaluación competitiva de los programas de emprendimiento experiencial. Se abordan los factores competitivos entre programas de emprendimiento universitario, comparando las capacidades estructurales y la efectividad de sus procesos en destacadas universidades emprendedoras. En este caso, se comparó el Programa Institucional Emprendedores de la Universidad del Valle (Colombia), frente a tres programas de emprendimiento de universidades públicas situadas en EE. UU. y Canadá, a partir del marco propuesto por el estudio de Fjeld y apoyados en la última edición del QS World University Rankings 2023. Los resultados muestran que las actividades de aprendizaje se ven altamente afectadas por la experiencia práctica, la cual fortalece el incremento de habilidades y competencias del emprendedor, además, se determina que el programa de emprendimiento en la universidad objeto de estudio debe cerrar brechas en algunos factores comparados si busca articularse con las nuevas políticas de formación y el trabajo experiencial para el fomento de competencias de emprendimiento. | spa |
| dc.description.abstract | High-impact university entrepreneurship requires stimulating experiential learning and strengthening the curriculum related to entrepreneurship. It is necessary to move from theory to the creation of enterprises. The problem is the gaps for this to happen, which is evident when comparing institutional entrepreneurship programs of public universities in developing countries with universities in developed countries. Therefore, the purpose is to identify gaps between university programs of experiential entrepreneurship training in developed countries versus the reality of a developing country. For this purpose, a rubric for the competitive evaluation of experiential entrepreneurship programs was constructed. Competitive factors among university entrepreneurship programs are addressed, comparing the structural capabilities and the effectiveness of their processes in leading entrepreneurial universities. In this case, the Entrepreneurship Institutional Program of the Universidad del Valle (Colombia) was compared with three entrepreneurship programs of public universities located in the USA and Canada based on the framework proposed by Fjeld's study and supported by the latest edition of the QS World University Rankings 2023. The results show that learning activities are highly affected by practical experience, which strengthens the increase of skills and competencies of the entrepreneur, and it is also determined that the entrepreneurship program at the university under study must close gaps in some factors compared if it seeks to articulate with the new training policies and experiential work for the promotion of entrepreneurship skills. | eng |
