Abstract

RESUMEN El artículo tiene como fin acercarse al concepto de identidad Latinoamericana, teniendo como referente a los hermanos Zapata Olivella, Manuel y Delia quienes recurrieron a sus raíces y orígenes en las tradiciones del pueblo afrodescendiente de nuestro país, así mismo las contribuciones de Delia Zapata Olivella como artista, bailarina, investigadora y su mayor aporte, la docencia por la cual consolido la Licenciatura en Danzas y Teatro en la Universidad Antonio Nariño con el acompañamiento de la actriz y dramaturga Rosario Montaña Cuellar, quienes centraran su estudio en las tradiciones populares del país, legado para el patrimonio inmaterial de Colombia. ABSTRACT The article aims to approach the concept of Latin American identity, taking as a reference to Zapata Olivella brothers, Manuel and Delia who resorted to their roots and origins in the traditions of people of African descent in our country, the same way Delia Zapata Olivella’s contributions as artist, dancer, researcher and her greatest gift, teaching for which consolidated a degree in Dance and Theatre at the Universidad Antonio Nariño with the actress and playwright Rosario Mountain Cuellar accompaniment, who would focus their study in the folk traditions of the country, a legacy to the intangible heritage of Colombia.
