Impacto de la inteligencia artificial en la protección de datos en el sector financiero

Abstract

Teniendo en cuenta la revolución tecnológica que vivió el mundo postpandemia, la Inteligencia Artificial tomo una mayor fuerza caracterizándose como uno de los pilares más importantes de contextualización y comprensión de su funcionamiento, donde todos los sectores se han visto altamente impactados, entre ellos, el sector financiero. Esto conlleva a las entidades financieras a tener una adopción digital acelerada tomando como puntos de referencias las fortalezas y debilidades que se puedan presentar al implementarla la IA. El presente trabajo da a conocer el impacto de la inteligencia Artificial en la protección de datos personales en el sistema financiero en Colombia. Como primer lugar, se realiza un estudio de la importancia del manejo y protección de datos personales, tomando como referencia algunas leyes que están reguladas en el País, haciendo énfasis en las entidades financieras. En segundo lugar, se hace una observación del auge presentado por nuevas tecnologías implementadas en sector financiero y relacionadas en su mayoría a la Inteligencia Artificial. Por último, se realiza un análisis de la relación de la Inteligencia Artificial y la seguridad de la información, para este caso se dará un enfoque a los datos personales del consumidor financiero y la ciberseguridad bancaria. Esta investigación se encuentra desarrollada bajo una dirección cualitativa implementando un diseño no experimental ya que no se manipulan variables.

Taking into account the technological revolution that the post-pandemic world experienced, Artificial Intelligence gained greater strength, characterizing itself as one of the most important pillars of contextualization and understanding of its operation, where all sectors have been highly impacted, including the private sector. financial. This leads financial entities to have accelerated digital adoption, taking as reference points the strengths and weaknesses that may arise when implementing AI. This work presents the impact of Artificial Intelligence on the protection of personal data in the financial system in Colombia. Firstly, a study is carried out on the importance of the management and protection of personal data, taking as reference some laws that are regulated in the Country, with emphasis on financial entities. Secondly, an observation is made of the rise of new technologies implemented in the financial sector and mostly related to Artificial Intelligence. Finally, an analysis of the relationship between Artificial Intelligence and information security is carried out; In this case, special attention will be given to the personal data of the financial consumer and banking cybersecurity. This research is developed under a qualitative direction implementing a non-experimental design since variables are not manipulated.
