Vivienda campesina social y permacultura en la ruralidad del paisaje cultural cafetero

Abstract

El siguiente artículo plantea la aproximación proyectual de la vivienda campesina social y la permacultura en la ruralidad del Paisaje Cultural Cafetero (PPC), con énfasis en Paisaje, Lugar y Territorio del semillero de investigación Arquitectura del Paisaje de la Universidad Piloto de Colombia. Este espacio de investigación concibe el enfoque sobre la vivienda desde el ámbito del diseño arquitectónico, problematiza los modos de vida del campesino contemporáneo y los aportes o cambios que la vivienda tradicional cafetera demanda. El objetivo general de la investigación propone diseñar modelos de vivienda campesina social en el marco de la permacultura, los cuales se adapten a los modos de vida del campesino contemporáneo y a las condiciones actuales del PCC. La metodología sistémica de valoración del Paisaje Cultural Cafetero integra el conocimiento de la vivienda, entendida como el objeto arquitectónico, el hogar y el entorno productivo. La metodología del trabajo de campo compara los datos socioeconómicos, bioclimáticos y físico-espaciales de cuatro viviendas tipo de la ruralidad quindiana. El resultado es la valoración tipológica de la vivienda tradicional respecto a los criterios de permacultura, proyectando dos tipos de vivienda que varían para adaptarse a las pendientes del relieve andino y la ocupación autosuficiente del territorio.

The following article presents the design approximation of the social peasant housing and permaculture in the rurality of the Coffee Region Cultural Landscape (PPC by its abbreviation in Spanish), with emphasis on the Landscape, Place, and Territory of the research seedbed Landscape Architecture of Universidad Piloto de Colombia. This research space conceives the housing approach from the field of architectural design, problematizes the lifestyle of the contemporary farmer and the contributions or changes that traditional coffee housing demands. The general objective of the research is to design models for social housing in the framework of permaculture, that can be adapted to the lifestyle of contemporary farmers and the current conditions of the PCC. The systemic methodology for the valuation of the Coffee Cultural Landscape integrates the knowledge of housing, understood as the architectural object, the home, and the productive environment. The methodology for fieldwork compares the socioeconomic, bioclimatic, and physical-spatial data of four typical houses in the rural areas of the country. The result is the typological evaluation of the traditional housing with respect to the permaculture criteria, projecting two types of housing that vary in order to adapt to the slopes of the Andean relief and the selfsufficient occupation of the territory.
