Influencia de la educación ligada a la competitividad empresarial

Abstract

Este artículo presenta una revisión de algunos municipios de la región Sabana Occidente, con los cuales se evidencian diferencias en niveles de educación que afectan el desarrollo económico del municipio. Entre los sectores económicos de esta región y su relación con la competitividad, cabe destacar el industrial y el agrícola, ya que favorecen la economía de estos municipios; por otro lado, los sectores que no se ven muy desarrollados en esta región son los de hotelería, restaurantes y minería. En el sector agrícola se destacan municipios como Madrid, Funza y Subachoque, mientras que entre los menores productores agrícolas están Zipacón y Bojacá con un 7.7% de participación.

This paper aims at checking some of the municipalities of the Sabana Occidental region in which there are differences of educational levels that affect the economic development of the municipality. Among the economic sectors of this region and its relation with competitiveness, we find the industrial and the agricultural sectors which favor the economy of these municipalities; on the other hand, those sectors which don ́t show great development are hotel trade, restaurants and mining. In the agricultural sector, we find municipalities like Madrid, Funza and Sobachoque, in contrast with the small agricultural producers such as Zipacon and Bojaca, having a participation of 7.7%.
