Abstract

Debido al crecimiento sostenido en el número de matrículas de estudiantes, la Universidad EAN decidió iniciar la construcción de sus nuevas instalaciones. En este texto se presenta la curva de aprendizaje desarrollada en la ejecución de la primera parte del proyecto; aquí el lector podrá encontrar los objetivos y desafíos de su planeación y gestión, teniendo en cuenta la continuación de la operación académica y el balance de su desarrollo dentro de las restricciones de costo, tiempo y alcance del proyecto.

Due to the sustained growth in the number of students’ enrolments, the EAN University decided to start the construction of its new facility. This text presents the learning curve developed during the implementation of the first part of the project. In this part, the reader will find the goals and challenges of the planning and management of the project, taking into account the continuation of the academic operation and the balance of its development within the project constraints of cost, time and scope.
