Plan de negocio para la creación del hotel Kaampàwam en la ciudad de Popayan

Abstract

En este trabajo se presenta una investigación para la elaboración del plan de negocios del hotel Kaampáwam en la ciudad de Popayán, con un enfoque que recoge ciertas prácticas culturales del Cauca y Popayán y que se trasmiten a partir de experiencias diferenciadas como el bienestar, la salud, la gastronomía y cultura. La idea parte de la hipótesis de la necesidad de la constitución de un espacio que integre parte de la esencia caucana en un solo sitio. La ciudad de Popayán cuenta con una oferta no diferencial de hospedaje lo que representa una oportunidad dada las nuevas tendencias de consumo que buscan servicios no convencionales, a ello se suma que la oferta no es a escala y no hay una estrategia por parte de los hoteles para integrarse de manera eficiente al sector en todas sus dimensiones. Las anteriores situaciones representan una oportunidad para el desarrollo de un emprendimiento hotelero con enfoques experienciales.

This paper presents an investigation for the preparation of the business plan of the Kaampáwam hotel in the city of Popayan, with an approach that includes certain cultural practices of Cauca and Popayán and that are transmitted from different experiences such as well-being, health , gastronomy and culture. The idea starts from the hypothesis of the need for the constitution of a space that integrates part of the Cauca essence in a single place. The city of Popayán has a non-differential offer of accommodation, which represents an opportunity given the new consumer trends that seek unconventional services, in addition to that the offer is not at scale and there is no strategy on the part of the hotels. to integrate efficiently into the sector in all its dimensions. The above situations represent an opportunity for the development of a hotel business with experiential approaches.
