SPA medicinal en el interior de la Catedral de Sal de Zipaquirá

Abstract

La Catedral de Sal se ha construido en el recinto interior de las tradicionales minas de sal de Zipaquirá, en el departamento de Cundinamarca; en realidad se trata de un sitio turístico, en cuyo interior se encuentra una rica colección artística, especialmente de esculturas de sal y mármol en un ambiente lleno de un profundo sentido religioso que atrae al turista. Por su estructura, la catedral de Sal de Zipaquirá es considerada uno de los logros más notables de la arquitectura colombiana, recibiendo el título de joya arquitectónica de la modernidad. El presente proyecto se apoya en la idea de ubicar un SPA medicinal, en el interior de la mina de sal que alberga a la catedral, con el fin de ofrecer tratamientos, terapias o sistemas de relajación, y cuyo espíritu pretende alcanzar dos objetivos concretos; primero, impulsar fuertemente el turismo en el municipio de Zipaquirá, gracias al logro del segundo objetivo: desarrollar un producto innovador tan impactante que permita aprovechar el reconocimiento de que goza la catedral y atraiga un mayor número de visitantes, nacionales y extranjeros, ávidos de disfrutar tan exótico y a la vez interesante producto.

The Salt Cathedral has been built inside interior of the traditional salt mines of Zipaquirá, in the Department of Cundinamarca; in fact it's a tourist site, in whose interior is a rich art collection, especially of sculptures by salt and marble in an atmosphere full of a deep religious sense that attracts tourists. By its structure, the Cathedral of Zipaquirá salt is considered one of the most notable achievements of the architecture Colombian, receiving the title of architectural jewel of modernity. This project is based on the idea of locating a medicinal SPA, in the interior of the salt mine that is home to the Cathedral, in order to offer treatments, therapies or systems of relaxation, and whose spirit aims to achieve two objectives; First, strongly promote tourism in the municipality of Zipaquirá, thanks to the achievement of the second objective: develop an innovative product so impressive to make use of the acknowledgement that enjoys the Cathedral and attract a greater number of visitors, national and foreign, eager to enjoy such exotic and at the same time interesting product.
