| spa |
| dc.description.abstract | Employees are getting more aware of the risk of being replaced by artificial intelligence. Paradoxically, they still are relevant players in the company when it comes to making decisions to improvise or answer on the spot to environmental changes. The aim of the article is to analyze the negative moderating effect of employee`s artificial intelligence awareness (EAIA) in the relationship between both, intuitive and rational decision-making style, and organizational improvisation. Surprisingly, a positive moderation effect of EAIA on intuitive decision-making style and organizational improvisation was found. This result allows us to dispute some previous studies that have repeatedly warned about the danger of CEIA. However, the result suggests that this effect is positive only when the company is under pressure to devise a real-time response to environmental demands. | eng |
