Principales desafíos que tienen las pymes contratistas del sector industrial químicos e hidrocarburos para implementar sistemas de gestión de seguridad y salud laboral OHSAS 18001

Abstract

El trabajo de investigación que presentamos, se basa en la gran pregunta ¿Cuáles han sido los principales desafíos que tienen las pymes contratistas del sector industrial químicos e hidrocarburos para implementar Sistemas de Gestión de Seguridad y Salud laboral OHSAS 18001? Realizamos una investigación sobre el tema antes de aplicar la encuesta a 25 pymes del sector. Es preciso afirmar que las generalidades y los distintos requisitos legales mencionados en el cuerpo del documento no son un tema desconocido para los encuestados si no que al contrario las organizaciones ya cuentan con una cultura de seguridad y salud en el trabajo, asi pues la posible implementacion efectiva de sistemas de gestion puede ser una realidad a corto plazo según cada organización encuentre la utilidad y beneficios que conlleva un sistema de gestion o incluso una certificacion.

The research paper is based on the question what have been the main challenges facing SMEs from the contractors of chemicals and hydrocarbons industry to implement OHSAS 18001 Occupational health and safety management systems? A research on the subject before mentioned applying a survey to 25 SMEs. It was found that the General and legal requirements mentioned in the document are not an unknown subject to respondents, but the organizations already have a culture of safety and health at work. Thus, the possible effective management systems implementation could be a reality in the short term as each organization finds the usefulness and benefits of using a managerial system or even a certification.
