Entrepreneurial intention (EI) has become a relevant research topic in the field of entrepreneurship due to the potential for entrepreneurship identified among university students. This study aims to identify the determinants of university entrepreneurial intention (UEI) in Colombia, considering the 33 universities in Colombia that participated in the Global University Entrepreneurial Spirit Student Survey (GUESSS) project. A structural equation model, Partial Least Squares Path Modeling (PLS-PM), is used to integrate elements of the theory of planned behavior (TCP) including attitudes (AC), subjective norms (NS), and perceived behavioral control (CCP) to predict the factors that precede entrepreneurial behavior. Findings demonstrate a positive correlation between NS and CCP towards UIS, while CA does not display significance due to intricate cognitive factors that can be influenced by external elements like the social environment. The theoretical implications entail the integration of CCT in UEI, while the practical implications revolve around promoting UEI among Colombian university students.eng
