Diagnóstico de las condiciones agroecológicas requeridas por los cultivos de cannabis medicinal en Colombia.

Abstract

El presente estudio tiene como fin evaluar las características preponderantes que permiten el desarrollo óptimo de los cultivos de cannabis conforme a las características agroecológicas de cada región en Colombia. De acuerdo al análisis teórico de la productividad en cultivos se encontró que entre las variables más importantes de las cuales influye la región donde se desarrolle el proyecto se tienen: temperatura, humedad relativa, y brillo solar. El interés surge a través de la revisión en fuentes bibliográficas donde se observa que se carece de información sobre las regiones del país que pueden optimizar estas variables y a su vez la productividad del cultivo. Esto teniendo en cuenta que en la actualidad, Colombia presenta condiciones favorables no solo climáticamente debido a su ubicación cerca al Ecuador sino que además ofrece costos bajos de mano de obra, energía e infraestructura posibilitando un costo de producción por gramo competitivo con respecto a otros países. Es por ello que se pretende analizar con la información disponible de empresas y proyectos establecidos en el país las características ideales para maximizar la operación de las empresas ya constituidas y de las que quieran ingresar a este renglón reciente de la economía colombiana.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the prevailing characteristics that allow the optimal development of cannabis crops according to the agroecological characteristics of each region in Colombia. According to the theoretical analysis of crop productivity, it was found that among the most important variables that influence the region where the project is developed are temperature, relative humidity, and solar brightness. The interest arises through the review of bibliographic sources where it is observed that there is a lack of information on the regions of the country that can optimize these variables and in turn the productivity of the crop, taking into account that currently, Colombia has favorable conditions not only climatically and location but also in costs because it has lower price per gram compared to other countries, because it requires less energy, space and time between harvests. This is why we intend to analyze with the available information of companies and projects established in the country the ideal characteristics to maximize the operation of the companies already established and those that want to enter this recent line of the Colombian economy.
