Sensibilidad de la triple restricción en los proyectos en el sector oil and gas en Colombia

Abstract

A partir de una muestra de proyectos de ingeniería en el sector Oil and Gas en Colombia, se analizan y se determinan cual es la variable según la triple restricción en proyectos (alcance, tiempo, costo) que es más sensible y varía respecto a lo planificado al inicio de los proyectos. La metodología de análisis se realiza a partir de una muestra “n” de proyectos donde se verifican si al finalizar el proyecto, los valores de los coeficientes de CPI, SPI estuvieron por debajo de 0.9 o existieron ordenes de cambio que se pueden calificar como cambios en lo presupuestado (costos), planificado (tiempo) o el alcance inicial del proyecto respectivamente. Producto de lo anterior se concluye que en los proyectos de Ingeniería en Colombia que hacen parte del sector Energético la variable más sensible es el “Alcance”. A esta investigación también se realizaron encuestas a Gerentes de Proyecto con el fin de obtener una respuesta cualitativa a la pregunta ¿En su experiencia, ¿cuál es la variable de la triple restricción que más varía en los proyectos?, obteniendo como resultado que la variable “Alcance” es aquella que es mas sensible a cambiar respecto a lo planificado inicialmente en los proyectos.

As a result of the foregoing, it is concluded that in Engineering projects in Colombia that are part of the Energy sector, the most sensitive variable is the "Scope". To this investigation, surveys were also carried out to Project Managers in order to obtain a qualitative answer to the question: In your experience, what is the variable of the triple restriction that varies the most in the projects ?, obtaining as a result that the variable "Scope" is the one that is most sensitive to change compared to what was initially planned in the projects.
