The 2026 FIFA World Cup is shaping up to be the largest sporting event in history: 48 national teams, 104 matches, and 16 host cities across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Analysts project that more than 6 trillion people will follow the tournament and more than 6.5 million will attend in person. In terms of advertising, WARC estimates that the event will inject $10.5 billion into the global advertising market.
