Ante la problemática existente en el sector papi cultor de la región Boyacense Colombiana debido a la escases de capital de trabajo dada por los márgenes tan bajos de la actividad, la sobredemanda del tubérculo, la falta de inversión en el sector, el elevado incremento en las importaciones, entre otras, se plantea la alternativa de incorporar tecnología de drones que contribuyan a una optimización de los recursos permitiendo una eficiencia en la producción de las cosechas, manteniendo una relación adecuada entre calidad y cantidad. Esta investigación es desarrollada con un enfoque cualitativo toda vez que se pretende determinar la factibilidad del desarrollo de un emprendimiento en el sector papicultor con el uso de aplicaciones móviles y vehículos no tripulados para aumentar los beneficios en sus cultivos, a su vez es una investigación correlacional ya que tiene como finalidad medir el grado de relación que existe entre dos o más variables, tales como márgenes de rentabilidad, productividad, innovación tecnológica y oportunidades de negocio.

Given the existing problems in the papi cultivator sector of the Colombian Boyacense region due to the shortage of working capital given by the very low margins of the activity, the over-demand of the tuber, the lack of investment in the sector, the high increase in the imports, among others, the alternative of incorporating drone technology that contributes to an optimization of resources is proposed, allowing an efficiency in the production of crops, maintaining an adequate relationship between quality and quantity. This research is developed with a qualitative approach since it is intended to determine the feasibility of the development of an enterprise in the papicultural sector with the use of mobile applications and unmanned vehicles to increase the benefits in their crops, in turn it is a correlational investigation since its purpose is to measure the degree of relationship that exists between two or more variables, such as profit margins, productivity, technological innovation and business opportunities.
