Para iniciar la investigación de manera general es necesario nombrar y conocer los inicios e impactos que ha tenido el Lean manufacturing en la industria a nivel mundial, es conocido como producción esbelta magra o ajustada es uno de los modelos de gestión administrativa utilizada a nivel mundial. Este modelo se basa en el sistema japonés de producción implementado por Toyota, teniendo auge en la industria automotriz norteamericana en los años 80`s expandiéndose gradualmente a otros países y sectores productivos incluyendo el sector servicios. La presenta investigación aborda un acercamiento en las diferentes herramientas de lean manufacturing que pueden ser utilizadas en el sector textil mejorando los resultados de los procesos productivos, manteniendo la herramienta implementada y generando mejora continua a lo largo de la implementación y su posterior puesta en marcha. Se podrá identificar la mejor herramienta a ser utilizada en el sector textil después del comparativo y análisis exhaustivo de las múltiples herramientas con las que cuenta el modelo de lean manufaturing identificando los beneficios y mejores prácticas para la implementación.

Starting the research in a general way it is necessary to name and know the beginnings and impacts that Lean manufacturing has had in the industry worldwide, it is known as lean or lean production is one of the models of administrative management used worldwide. This model is based on the Japanese production system implemented by Toyota, which boomed in the American automotive industry in the 80's and gradually expanded to other countries and productive sectors, including the service sector. The present research addresses an approach in the different lean manufacturing tools that can be used in the textile sector improving the results of the production processes, maintaining the implemented tool, and generating continuous improvement throughout the implementation and its subsequent start-up. It will be possible to identify the best tool to be used in the textile sector after the comparative and exhaustive analysis of the multiple tools that the lean manufacturing model has, identifying the benefits and best practices for the implementation.
