En el presente trabajo de investigación se realizó un análisis de la adopción de prácticas de gerencia de proyecto en organizaciones financieras ubicadas en la ciudad de Bogotá; con el fin de identificar y especificar las practicas aplicadas en el sector; teniendo en cuenta el objetivo del trabajo se estructuro un estudio en donde se evaluó el tipo de variables, herramientas, estructuración de las empresas, madurez en la aplicación de gestión de proyectos entre otras. Dicha identificación y especificación buscó contribuir en la recomendación y mejora en el uso de adopción de metodologías y prácticas de Gerencia de Proyectos en el sector financiero, con el fin de aportar en el éxito de la implementación de dicha adopción de sus proyectos generando una contribución de éxito en el desarrollo de proyectos del sector. Actualmente se encuentran vigiladas por el Fondo de Garantías de Instituciones Financieras (FOGAFÍN) 48 entidades, de las cuales 24 corresponden a los bancos, a quienes en la presente investigación se indagó y comprobó el tipo de metodologías y herramientas que utilizan como referencia en el diagnóstico y análisis de resultados.

In the present work, an analysis was made of the adoption of project management practices in financial organizations located in the city of Bogotá; In order to identify and specify the practices applied in the sector; Taking into account the objective of the work was structured a study in which the type of variables, tools, structuring of the companies, maturity in the application of project management among others was evaluated. This identification and specification sought to contribute to the recommendation and improvement in the use of adoption of methodologies and practices of Project Management in the financial sector, in order to contribute to the success of the implementation of said adoption of its projects generating a contribution of Success in the development of projects of the sector. Currently, 48 institutions are monitored by the Fund for Guarantees of Financial Institutions (FOGAFÍN), of which 24 correspond to banks, who in the present investigation were investigated and verified the type of methodologies and tools used as reference in the diagnosis And analysis of results. In conclusion, the present preliminary study aims to promote and encourage companies in the sector to make, implement and apply correctly the implementation of management methodology more adaptable for the type of project to be developed within the sector.
