Dentro de la teoría de adherencia terapéutica, se hace énfasis en aquellos factores existentes en la vida del ser humano que conllevan a que el paciente no brinde la importancia necesaria a su autocuidado en lo referente a seguir ordenes médicas o tratamientos indicados, por lo tanto, es necesario su identificación, evaluación y control lo cual repercutirá directamente en la recuperación de la salud y resultado del tratamiento ya sea farmacológico o no farmacológico. Objetivo: Identificar los factores predisponentes en la adherencia terapéutica en pacientes con Hipertensión y Diabetes mellitus tipo II, en hospitales de primer nivel a través de revisión literatura e implementación de un instrumento evaluativo.

Within the theory of therapeutic adherence, emphasis is made on those factors existing in the life of the human being that lead to the patient not giving the necessary importance to their self-care in terms of following medical orders or indicated treatments, therefore, its identification, evaluation and control are necessary, which will directly affect the recovery of health and the result of treatment, whether pharmacological or non-pharmacological. Objective: To identify the predisposing factors in the therapeutic adherence in patients with Hypertension and Diabetes mellitus type II, in first level hospitals through literature review and implementation of an evaluative instrument.
