Este proyecto se enfoca en optimizar la producción de una arena ecológica para gatos elaborada con materiales de origen vegetal que, al presentar elevadas cantidades de almidón, puedan funcionar perfectamente como agentes aglutinantes en el producto. Evaluando el desempeño del producto final, el objetivo es ofrecer una alternativa ecológica frente a las arenas tradicionales, que pueden afectar la salud del gato a largo plazo debido al polvo que generan. La investigación evalúa la viabilidad y el potencial de los materiales orgánicos para proporcionar una opción sostenible y eficiente en comparación con arenas comerciales basadas en bentonita y otras alternativas ecológicas de diferente base.
