El presente estudio descriptivo de enfoque cuantitativo identifica las habilidades que los estudiantes del Colegio The English School (TES), del Programa de Años Intermedios (PAI), desarrollan en el área de inglés y francés por medio del uso de textos multimodales. El estudio se enfoca en la relación que tiene la tecnología en la producción de contenido hablado; es decir que describe las habilidades que los estudiantes desarrollan con el apoyo tecnológico desde el marco de la teoría del conectivismo. Además, se analiza un diagnóstico de pertinencia de estas herramientas tecnológicas y el grado de usabilidad de los recursos digitales en el desarrollo de las habilidades de habla. Para realizar este estudio se utilizó una encuesta bajo el modelo de la escala de Likert.

This descriptive study with a quantitative approach identifies the skills that students of The English School (TES), of the Middle Years Program (MYP), develop in the area of English and French through the use of multimodal texts. The study focuses on the relationship that technology has in the production of spoken content; that is, it describes the skills that students develop with technological support from the framework of the connectivism theory. In addition, a diagnosis of the relevance of these technological tools and the degree of usability of digital resources in the development of speaking skills is analyzed. In order to carry out this study, a survey under the Likert scale model was used.
