El presente documento recoge algunas de las inquietudes que han surgido a partir de la propuesta de la reforma educativa en Colombia, principalmente respecto al futuro de la calidad de la educación universitaria con relación a las metas de incremento a la cobertura. Si bien es claro que a mayor acceso a educación mejores posibilidades de desarrollo hay para el país, es importante contemplar cómo las políticas orientadas a facilitar el acceso a la educación pueden estar ignorando factores asociados con los docentes que impactan de manera directa en la calidad de la formación, incrementando así los riesgos asociados a la sostenibilidad no solo económica sino social del sector. A través de este estudio se desea revisar desde qué enfoque se aborda la sostenibilidad social y sus dimensiones desde el modelo de Anh Ly y Michael Cope, en las universidades de Colombia, en cuya responsabilidad directa recaen los resultados de enseñanza y aprendizaje, de las metas propuestas dentro del marco de la Agenda 2030 y del gobierno en curso. Para ello se realiza una revisión documental en la Base de Datos SCOPUS de donde se obtuvo 48 documentos a través de los cuales fue posible reconocer el estado actual del abordaje del constructo sostenibilidad social en y desde las universidades durante el periodo 2019 al 2024.

This document includes some of the concerns that have arisen from the proposal for educational reform in Colombia, mainly regarding the future of the quality of university education in relation to the goals of increasing coverage. Although it is clear that the greater access to education, the better development possibilities there are for the country, it is important to consider how policies aimed at facilitating access to education may be ignoring factors associated with teachers that directly impact the quality of education. training, thus increasing the risks associated with not only the economic but also the social sustainability of the sector. Through this study we wish to review from what approach social sustainability and its dimensions are explored from the model of Anh Ly and Michal Cope, in the universities of Colombia, in whose direct responsibility relies on the teaching and learning results, the goals proposals within the framework of the 2030 Agenda and the current government. For this, a documentary review was carried out in the SCOPUS Database from which 48 documents were obtained through which it was possible to recognize the current state of addressing the social sustainability construct in and from universities during the period 2019 to 2024.
