En el marco de los compromisos relacionados con la lucha contra con el cambio climático suscritos en el Acuerdo de París (Organización de las Naciones Unidas, 2015), Colombia presentó las Contribuciones Determinadas a Nivel Nacional (NDC), entre las cuales se encuentra “… incrementar la participación modal de la bicicleta en un 5,5%, para el año 2030…” (Contribución Determinada a Nivel Nacional (NDC) de Colombia, 2020, p. 15), involucrando 17 ciudades del país entre ellas Pasto. Para alcanzar la anterior medida se requiere de mecanismos efectivos durante los siguientes siete años, razón por la cual, las estrategias que se propondrán en esta investigación descriptiva serán el resultado del análisis de la situación actual de las acciones ejecutadas en el municipio de Pasto para promover el uso modal de la bicicleta y una encuesta para conocer la percepción de la gente respecto a las dificultades para usar la bicicleta en esa ciudad.

Within the framework of commitments related to the fight against climate change signed to the Paris Agreement (United Nations, 2015), Colombia presented the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), which included Find "... Increase the modal share of the bicycle by 5.5%, for the year 2030..." (Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) of Colombia, 2020, p. 15),involving 17 cities in the country including Pasto. To achieve the above measure, It requires effective mechanisms for the next seven years, which is why, the Strategies that will be proposed in this descriptive research will be the result of the analysis of the current situation of the actions carried out in the municipality of Pasto to promote the use modal of the bicycle and a survey to know the perception of people regarding the Difficulties to use the bicycle in that city.
