Propuesta de prototipo de un sistema de gestión del seguimiento en tiempo real de los buses urbanos SITP por medio de GPS desde un terminal de consulta

Abstract

Hoy en día el Sistema Integrado de Transporte de Bogotá es usado por millones de personas diariamente, de igual forma son muchos los usuarios que se quejan por la falta de confianza y eficiencia de este, especialmente las relacionadas con los tiempos de espera y rutas que recorre el SITP urbano. Lo anterior impacta negativamente su uso dando paso a al decrecimiento de otros factores ligados a él como financiación, productividad o mantenimiento. Por lo tanto, el siguiente documento tiene por objetivo conocer el estado actual y preciso del servicio de transporte de buses urbanos SITP, mediante el análisis de indicadores esenciales de movilidad y evaluaciones cualitativas por parte de los usuarios relacionados con la eficiencia del servicio. Lo anterior con el fin de definir las funcionalidades del prototipo a implementar en la red de buses y lograr una solución permanente a estos problemas de confiabilidad y aumentar su uso.

Nowadays the Integrated Transport System of Bogotá is used by millions of people daily, in the same way, there are many users who complain about the lack of confidence and efficiency of it, especially those related to waiting times and routes that the urban SITP runs. The foregoing negatively impact its use, giving way to a decrease in other factors linked to it, such as financing, productivity, or maintenance. Therefore, the following document aims to know the current and precise status of the SITP urban bus transport service, through the analysis of essential mobility indicators and qualitative evaluations by users related to the efficiency of the service. The above in order to define the functionalities of the prototype to be implemented in the bus network and achieve a permanent solution to these reliability problems and increase its use.
