Propuesta para incentivar el turismo sostenible en Colombia

Abstract

El turismo sostenible busca además de satisfacer las necesidades de los turistas, desarrollar los aspectos económicos, culturales y ambientales conservando los recursos para generaciones futuras. Colombia muestra un crecimiento en este sector, al ser uno de los destinos con mayor atractivo turístico del mundo, por su biodiversidad y excelente ubicación geográfica, esta investigación pretende contribuir con su fortalecimiento generando una propuesta que permita incentivar el desarrollo del turismo sostenible, identificando las diferentes barreras y sus participantes. Para este fin se realizó una investigación de tipo cualitativa, no experimental, basada en los diferentes actores y aspectos que intervienen en el desarrollo del turismo sostenible como una actividad económica amigable con el medio ambiente, tomando como marco de referencia fuentes de información de investigaciones existentes, mediante la recopilación de datos de manera sistemática para su análisis e interpretación.

Sustainable tourism seeks not only to satisfy the needs of tourists but also to develop economic, cultural, and environmental aspects, preserving resources for future generations. Colombia shows growth in this sector, being one of the destinations with the greatest tourist attraction in the world due to its biodiversity and excellent geographical location. This research aims to help its strengthening by generating a proposal to encourage sustainable tourism development, identifying the different barriers and its participants. For this purpose, qualitative, non-experimental research was carried out based on the different actors and aspects involved in sustainable tourism as an environmentally friendly economic activity, taking as a reference framework existing research information sources by collecting data systematically for analysis and interpretation.
