Identificar las causas del no reporte de eventos adversos, que afectan la seguridad del paciente, en una IPS de la ciudad de Ibagué durante el segundo semestre del año 2023.

Abstract

Introducción: El adecuado y oportuno reporte de eventos adversos debe convertirse en un principio institucional obligatorio para todo el personal sanitario, con la finalidad de lograr que los objetivos corporativos cumplan a cabalidad con la reglamentación en salud y, por ende, pueda convertirse en una Institución confiable para sus usuarios. Objetivo: Determinar cuáles son las causas del no reporte de eventos adversos que afectan la seguridad del paciente en la IPS VIVA 1a de la ciudad de Ibagué, durante el segundo semestre del año 2023, Metodología: con enfoque cuantitativo, transversal, no experimental, descriptivo, el alcance brindado con la aplicación del instrumento a una muestra probabilística de 59 funcionarios de la IPS, y el instrumento fue adoptado por el equipo investigativo del artículo “Factores asociados a la notificación de eventos adversos por el personal de salud”, (Rosas, 2017). Conclusiones: Las principales causas identificadas son en primer lugar es la percepción de los colaboradores de la falta de análisis y gestión del reporte con un 38,9% seguido de la percepción de complejidad para hacer el reporte con un 28,8%.

Objective: Determine the causes of the non-reporting of adverse events that affect patient safety in the IPS VIVA 1a of the city of Ibagué, during the second half of 2023, Methodology: with a quantitative, transversal, non-experimental, descriptive approach. , the scope provided with the application of the instrument to a probabilistic sample of 59 IPS officials, and the instrument was adopted by the research team of the article “Factors associated with the notification of adverse events by health personnel”, (Rosas, 2017). Conclusions: The main causes identified are, first of all, the perception of the collaborators of the lack of analysis and management of the report with 38.9% followed by the perception of complexity to make the report with 28.8%.
