| spa |
| dc.description.abstract | This consulting project addresses the challenges faced by Colombian agro-industrial micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MiPymes) in adopting sustainable practices within the framework of bioeconomy and circular economy. Based on previous diagnoses and literature review, a comprehensive consulting model was developed, aiming to strengthen environmental and productive management in three case study companies. The methodology included secondary information review and primary data collection through organizational diagnostics. Results revealed limited technological adoption, poor waste utilization, and weak articulation with regenerative value chains. A tailored roadmap was proposed for each company: organic waste valorization, zero-kilometer marketing, and whey reuse. These interventions demonstrated their potential to improve resource efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and strengthen competitiveness. The study concludes that integrating bioeconomy principles in MiPymes is not only feasible but necessary for their long-term sustainability. Moreover, the proposed model can be replicated in similar contexts, serving as a practical tool for other organizations in the sector. | eng |
