La frecuencia del transporte fluvial de Puerto Leguízamo (Putumayo) y la posibilidad de que estudiantes del casco urbano accedan a ofertas educativas de educación superior

Abstract

El presente artículo es el resultado de un trabajo investigativo, que se centra en analizar la relación que tiene la prestación del servicio de transporte fluvial de Puerto Leguízamo (Putumayo) a los estudiantes de educación superior del municipio y su acceso a la oferta educativa en municipios aledaños o ciudades principales. El presente documento destaca y evidencia el grado de congruencia y correlación de las variables analizadas, logrando identificar la importancia que tiene ésta cuenca fluvial de Colombia para los habitantes de la zona, evidenciando la necesidad de una mayor inversión en temas relacionados con infraestructura, educación y transporte que impulsen el desarrollo económico del municipio. Finalmente, se concluye que el acceso a la educación superior, aunque no está directamente relacionada con la frecuencia del servicio en el transporte fluvial, si es un objetivo central del desarrollo de las políticas públicas que se adelantan a nivel local y nacional, las cuales buscan mejorar el acceso a los servicios básicos y mejorar la calidad de vida de la población.

This article is the result of a research paper, which focuses on analyzing the relationship between the provision of river transportation service of Puerto Leguízamo (Putumayo) to students of higher education in the municipality and their access to the educational offer in municipalities nearby or main cities. The present document highlights and evidences the degree of congruence and correlation of the analyzed variables, managing to identify the importance that this river basin of Colombia has for the inhabitants of the area, evidencing the need for greater investment in issues related to infrastructure, education and transport that boost the economic development of the municipality. Finally, it is concluded that access to higher education, although not directly related to the frequency of service in river transport, is a central objective of the development of public policies that are advanced at the local and national level, which seek improve access to basic services and improve the quality of life of the population.
