Currently, health institutions seek to guarantee humanized care for users within the framework of national policies, especially in childbirth, since this is one of the most important events in a woman's life which is why there is a need to identify the satisfaction of maternal women after experiencing this process. Objective: To identify the satisfaction of users of the gynecology and obstetrics service of a high complexity hospital in the fourth quarter of 2021 through structured surveys. Design and method: cross-sectional quantitative descriptive study in the gynaecology and obstetrics department of a high complexity hospital, during the fourth quarter of 2021. Validation of the Mackey Childbirth Satisfaction Rating Scale (MCSRS) questionnaire will be applied to 234 low-risk postpartum mothers. The data will be collected through a structured survey that will include the MCSRS questionnaire, obstetric and demographic variables. Descriptive statistics will be applied for the analysis of the variables with grouping of variables of discrete quantitative and qualitative ordinal and nominal type. Results: A level of satisfaction of humanized childbirth corresponding to "satisfactory" is expected. Conclusions: It is important to apply scales to measure satisfaction, which help the health institution to obtain accurate data to identify shortcomings in the implementation of humanization strategies in childbirth attend.eng
