La Logística es el proceso de distribución de materiales desde su fabricación hasta la entrega al cliente, siendo necesario: planeación, control de costos, almacenamiento e inventarios. La Logística en el sector salud toma vital importancia para realizar la entrega de materiales en los tiempos pactados, buscando salvar vidas. Industrias Médicas I.M. quien distribuye dispositivos Médicos de Ortopedia en Colombia, presenta dificultades en su proceso logístico de alistamiento, despacho y entrega de materiales quirúrgicos, se realizará un diagnóstico del proceso para identificar las causas que impactan la prestación del servicio al cliente.

Logistics is the process of distribution of materials from its manufacture to delivery to the customer, being necessary: planning, cost control, storage and inventories. Logistics in the health sector is of vital importance to deliver materials in the agreed times, seeking to save lives. Medical Industries I.M. who distributes Orthopedic Medical Devices in Colombia, presents difficulties in their logistical process of enlistment, dispatch and delivery of surgical materials, a diagnosis of the process will be made to identify the causes that impact the provision of customer service.
