En esta investigación partimos del concepto de ciudades inteligentes el cual consiste en el manejo de todos los recursos de una forma sostenible e inteligente, la información se extraerá principalmente de los rankings mundiales de Smart City Index 2020 y ranking ICIM identificando los principales factores y habilitadores que deben ser desarrollados para poder mejorar su productividad como ciudad inteligente, se podrá evidenciar la importancia que tiene la participación de todos los ciudadanos en el proceso del desarrollo sostenible.

In this research we start from the concept of smart cities which consists of the management of all resources in a sustainable and intelligent way, the information will be extracted mainly from the world rankings of Smart City Index 2020 and ICIM ranking identifying the main factors and enablers that must be developed in order to improve its productivity as a smart city, it will be possible to demonstrate the importance of the participation of all citizens in the process of sustainable development.
